How do I remove self-tanner?

  • We've all been there – a self-tanning application that didn't quite turn out as expected, or a tan that has been hanging around for a few days, signaling it's time for a fresh start. Here are some simple tips for removing old self-tanner:

    Exfoliation
Use an exfoliating scrub or glove, focusing on the areas where you want to remove the tan. Gentle, circular motions will help eliminate dead skin cells (and with them, your old tan).

    Heat
A warm shower or a visit to the sauna can open up your pores, making it easier to remove self-tanner. Use a soft sponge or brush to gently scrub away the color.

    Oil
Oil-based products can assist in removing your tan more quickly. Apply olive oil, coconut oil, or baby oil to the area you want to treat and let it sit for a few minutes before washing it off.
